A second Tesla M3. Without question the best handling, the best road holding, the very best software integration, the best servicing/maintenance. And 2nd hand - the best price!
Ugly and limited in colours is the only down side.

Read something about Tesla. This has its good part (they take responsibility for their mistakes, at least in the USA) and another not so good part.

Only because it is YELLOW tho
Am I right in thinking that is a Lotus badge unceremoniously nailed to the front of a generic hatchback?
It’s as much a Lotus as the EX30 is a Volvo. Both have badges unceremoniously nailed to the front of a generic hatchback.

I wonder what Colin Chapman would think of it?

Only difference being that Volvo have always made similar cars (ie 5 doors, family hatchback) and have always had JVs with other manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, DAF etc.. to make their cars. So yes it is a Geeley platform and yes there are shared components, but I don't think there is anything inherently not a Volvo about the EX30.

Whereas the Lotus just smacks of badge engineering. Mind you, everyone is up to it. Remember the Aston Martin which was a rebadged Toyota IQ?

Shared platforms have been around in car design for quite some time. Doesn’t stop each manufacturer stamping their own identity on it. The EX30 and the Smart are quite different but manage to reflect each brand quite well.
As for the Lotus, I’m sure Mr Chapman would see it as an improvement on his little DeLorean adventure.

That was a fiasco of some magnitude. :)

And again, the DeLorean was built on a Lotus chassis with an underpowered Renault engine.
