Hello,
I have a Twin Performance Ultra and it’s supposed to have keyless entry, however I can’t get it to work. The only way to can open and clock the car is using the key tag or card on the pillar.
I have it switch on in the car but still nothing. Anyone else having this issue?

This was mentioned indirectly in another thread on this forum…

Great, thanks. Will try these methods.
I have to say, a button on the key fob to lock/unlock would be so much better. This way I can unlock the car from a distance to allow others to get in. Now I have to walk around to the drivers side each time!
A real step back if you ask me!!

A bit of extra info:
There is a setting to control how the key tag (not the cards) works. Go to Settings, Controls, Locking. On that page, under Approaching and Leaving there is a toggle to switch between unlock/lock on approaching/leaving (on) or lock/unlock using the drivers door handle (off).
It is also worth remembering that the car needs to recognise that there is a key tag nearby and to ‘wake up’ before the doors unlock and this can take a few moments.
You soon get the hang of it and it is quite therapeutic to just slow down for a moment

People have reported rapidly discharging batteries in the Key Tags. Possibly resolved on the 1.3 update though not specifically noted..

Thanks for this, but I have that turned on already and still no luck getting the doors to unlock. Will try a new battery.Ste007 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 12:17 pm A bit of extra info:

I have had my EX30 for 2 months now and keyfob was fine but then stopped working. To fix it I had to open the fob and take the battery out and then put the battery back in.
Looks like the key had hung. I suspect the Tile that I had attched to the fob had caused it to hang when I did a search for my phone from the Tile.
All sorted after turning the keyfob off and on. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.

The keyless system doesn’t work at all, I confirm it’s a step backward. A key with a button is much better.

That’s a bit harsh, it often works, just not all the time. The problem is you don’t know when it’s not going to work, but it’s usually when your passengers are getting cold and wet and they are shouting at you to open the ****** doors.
I agree, a key fob with buttons is much better, but most people want their mobile phones to unlock car, it’s a step backwards but you can’t stop progress, even if it’s in the wrong direction.
