I took delivery of my EX30 this weekend, and had a good dealer experience throughout. EV newbie, so a steep learning curve. Very pleased with the car itself. Having a few teething problems with the software:
1. charging. Thanks to this forum have discovered the 6 amp issue (even though software says v1.3) so manually set to 32 amp and seems ok
2. EX30 app doesnt work, any suggestions welcome. Set up in car at dealers with my Volvo ID so connects ok but, no info on the car except for a vin number, no IITC, no operation remotely and no way I can see of addressing this.
3. a little disappointed that Apple Play is still missing. Using proximity key fob ok for now
4. Handbook explanations could be better!

I've found a CarPlay app on mine but no one else has reported it and I don't have an iPhone to test it out.

Check in your apps list - is it there?

If I look in the apps list, carplay isn’t listed. If I then ask google assistant for “Apple Carplay”, this is the screen that appears. Touching on the icon or the name doesn’t do anything.

Volvo have confirmed the app is there but non-functional presently
