From the climate screen, you can enable parking comfort. The car will still lock but the ac will remain on and the internal alarm will be disabled

I understand that setting but my problem is that there is no one left in the car when I lock the car and yet the alarm sounds. Whatever sensor they using needs calibration. For me it's a software issue.MartinsEX30 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 11:15 am From the climate screen, you can enable parking comfort. I discovered by chance that if you have any weight on the passender seat, the life detection alarm gets triggered.
In my case i had left a couple of heavyish books on the passenger seat and the alarm went off a couple of times one evening. Removed the books and it didn't go off again.
I assume it would be the same for the rear seats.
Seems the car isn't intelligent enough to tell the difference.
Would be good if we could permanently disable it!

Yes I thought that was a good idea.. Gave up as it has to be enabled everytime you get out of the carMartinsEX30 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 11:15 am From the climate screen, you can enable parking comfort. The car will still lock but the ac will remain on and the internal alarm will be disabled

I discovered that mine is triggered by a bag I use on the back seat if I leave the lid up it goes off every time I leave the car, lid down note a peep. I’ve deduced it’s something to do with the car sensors bouncing off the silver reflective coating on the inside of the lid and thinking that it is someone is sat in the seat. Now I know I just keep the lid down, sorted.vaux_2 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 8:19 am I discovered by chance that if you have any weight on the passender seat, the life detection alarm gets triggered.
