Well folks, after 4 months of frustration with my EX30 and 8 weeks silence from Volvo, they have finally agreed to accept my rejection, collect the car and refund.
It puts an end to one of my most disappointing car experiences.
At least you all won't need to listen to my complaints any more!
I'm off to BMW, wish me luck!

Very sad and sounds extremely frustrating, stay in touch and report back about your BMW!
Final post from me, just to say Volvo collected my EX30 to take it to auction. Some other poor soul can deal with it now.
I have driven 200 miles in its replacement, a BMW i4 M50 and cannot praise it enough. So much better than the volvo in every area and the radio works
Buying an ex demo saved me £25k so even the price was acceptable.

Shame the Volvo didn’t work out for you. I bet the i4 M50 feels nice in comparison but as they start at £71k you would kinda hope so! Enjoy.
