Active Sound
Maybe if i had a Ferrari...Lambo...McLaren...maybe...
When my Toyota died this year, after two decades of good service and zero repairs, I was looking at what options Toyota had. The new CHR, in dark gray, looked spectacular to me. Muscular, beautiful, and presumably solid. I wasn't able to test drive that model but I tested the previous model and tested the RAV. It may have changed in the new model, but...I couldn't handle the CVT clutch/shift system. When you requested power from the car, a sound of very high revs was heard in the car, but there was no correlation between the sound and the expected acceleration. Much ado About Nothing. So, with all the pain in my heart I abandoned Toyota, almost exclusively...because of the engine sound. Now with the silent EX30 I find it amazing that the car jumps without obvious signs of effort. It makes it even more impactful. Is magic.
