dismantle of central sliding drinks compartment

placed a pair of sunglasses in their 'pouch' in the sliding container for the drinks holders (I know there must be better places) and in moving the slider back to its closed position, the sunglasses pouch was moved over a lip in that container such that you cannot retrieve it when the holder is moved to either the first or fully open position! Even my wife's hand cannot retrieve it - has anyone any experience of how these units dissemble? A drawing of the installation perhaps?

Several people have reported this sort of issue.

Even I put a pen (I think) in there and it disappeared backwards.

No one's reported a way of getting it apart. Everyone's had to resort to fishing the object out.

Okay.. lesson for all of us others.. not to place anything apart from secured cups/bottles in the holder. I myself need to get out of the habit of placing my home keys in there. I cannot imagine.. A printed sticker to remind oneself would be good I guess.

OK - progress to date - screwed sucker onto a spatula - but height of sucker too big to 'enter' rear storage AND lift trapped case out. Next attempt will involve ball of twinstick glue!
