Here is a challenge for us all. I dare You to try it:

Without disabling any alert systems, try to drive from home to local store without Volvo Beeping or warning about anything even once

I think next step is that driver is required to wear helmet.

It's a funny thing, sometimes it REALLY annoys me and other times it helps to slow me down, depends on my mood...

I can’t even get to the road from the garage.

I never switch off any alerts.

If you do not count the speeding beeps, I can drive for miles without getting any now. (I have also learnt to cover my mouth when yawning).

The speeding beeps don't occur in heavy traffic ad I can't get that fast, but in lighter traffic I must confess to getting some - even with the speed limiter set to the speed limit. The speed warning system is more accurate than the speed limiter that does allow a small excess speed to occur.
