Hi there. Just got today my V2L adapter. Showing here

No way to get it work tho. Jeje. When plugged in car says cable connected, waitting… just like when you Connect the charging cable. Nothing new on other menues.

And ideas?

Go back to the seller and ask them as they state it's specifically designed to work with the EX30. I would love to see this work, it would be very usefull.

Just got the reply from GeelyEV:

“Hi. Good afternoon.

It's a problem with the software settings or an updated version, look for button switches.

If you can't find it you can't use it because the updated software is different in each country, we can only refund you.

I thought the EX30 did not support V2L? The last I read it was to be introduced in the EX90. Nothing on it for the EX30. Might be a future update if the hardware allows it, we can't know unless some company official confirms it.

That's right, the EX30 is NOT available for V2L.

First time seeing this news and it is interesting. If this is true then that should mean the hardware IS bidirectional compatible and already enabled in that test car somehow, must be a different country. We in the UK may be limited only by the software side of it and might come in a future update (if at all they decide to release it here)

Surely its software limited. So I’ll have a nice type2 brick for a while. Anyway will try again after 1.4.2 roll out. Just in case.
