First award of 2025! Our Chief Engineering & Technology Officer, Anders Bell, has been recognised as a leader in the software-defined vehicle space by @motortrend
Under his leadership, we’ve started a technological transformation which allows us to harness the power of AI, data, and software to build safer cars and to enhance the driving experience for our customers.
Just in case anyone thought that the Swedish don't have a sense of humour.
Well, it would be nice this genius to harness the power of AI, data, and software and to make the EX30 capable of heating up the cabin. It would be good start…
The SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) Innovator Awards program is the first and only in the industry to celebrate the experts, leaders, and pioneers on the cutting edge of the massive disruption in the automotive marketplace.
If the Volvo Chief Engineering and Technology Officer is an award winner it’s frightening to think what the losers are like.
These awards are complete guff anyway. Whatever the industry they are just a money making scheme for the people who run them. In my industry (manufacturing, but not automotive) we could easily get a number of awards a year if we could be bothered and if we wanted to pay to buy tables at the ceremony.
Glad to see absolute incompetence is rewarded, if they'd be kind enough to let us his address I'd love to send him a personalized present ( the shitty kind not the blowie kind just to be clear ).
