Evening all ,

I seem to have an issue with my screen wash , at first over the weekend I put it down to the cold weather .But this isn’t the case now , I’ve no error codes , the wash is topped up but I’m not getting any water ?

Any ideas appreciated

Shaun

When you hold down the stalk side wiper buttons can you hear the wiper pump engaging?

Is it cold where you live? I’ve seen a you tube video which says that once electric car screen washers get frozen you have to get the outside temp warm (eg put it inside somewhere, garage, underground car park) to defrost them because there is no heat from the engine to help you. The answer is that you have to use more screen washers than you would in an ICE car so that thy don’t freeze in the first place.

Thanks chaps ,

It’s definitely not frozen and the motor makes no sound , Volvo can’t look at it till Friday 🤦🏻
The manual doesn’t show any fuse locations either

I'm still trying to get a schedule for the fuse boxes!

Whatever happened to having the fuse allocations on a sticker inside the lid!

I believe there are two fuse boxes. One by the drivers left foot (on RHD vehicles) (which is where my dash cam is wired in to) and another one buried under the panels in the Froot (or Frunk if you're American....).
No idea if there's any data on the fuses there though. The manual says that a blown fuse should only be replaced by the dealer.......

Yes that's as far as I've got too - except I've also removed the frunk to get full access to the under-bonnet one (and replaced it!) - fully illustrated if you wish

I’ve had to use the Xc 40 for pictures off Reddit !
Not easy to get to the fuse box and only a number diagram inside the cover . The fuse seemed ok for the washer so unfortunately looks like a trip to the dealership 🤦🏻
